 | national traffic | falkor: Don these vehicles you are provided with, they look the part mate but are they really any good? Don: Of course they are falkor: What I mean is, when you have your pedal to the floor what kind of torque is produced? Is there REAL acceleration? Don: There is certainly enough power to give us what we need. Remember we are there for hi vis patrols, debris removal, incident management, breakdowns and road closures Charl_Hunter: And maniac vehicle pursuits, don't forget them Don: Well we keep hearing rumours of blue lights coming our way, but until that happens we'll stick to what we're paid for falkor: Do you yourself believe these rumours of blue lights for HATO patrols? Don: Whatever the truth, it certainly is the recurring topic of many conversations, with some HATOs even promising to quit the day it happens. I think blue lights would be helpful in many situations we encounter. Charl_Hunter: Would give the HATO patrol vehicles more authority too Don: Yes that's true |
