  M1 breach

I don’t think its right for this site to be discussing on going specific legal events that have happened! I feel it is wrong if not illegal for traffic officers and other members including guest alike to comment. This alleged breach could be awaiting a court sitting in which some posts within this site could effectively damage that hearing if a solicitor was to view it. After all in this country you are innocent until proven guilty! Who is not to say some of the posts are not from the highways, police or contractors that are part of the above investigation.

Please remember this is a public forum in which anyone can access very easily. If I was to have a case pending and found Tom, Dick and Harry discussing the ins and outs of it, I would be pissed off.

I think until there is information to say the case is finished, the m1 breach topic should be removed.

Indeed guest, we are simply reporting on what is taking place on another forum. If you're one of the TO's involved, you shouldn't have let her get through, if not, you'll find it's the police's errors that will lead to it getting thrown out of court, not our speculation - Crawl back under your desk Mr / Mrs OM!

  Excuse me wanderer
For a start I don’t think any of the HA oms have got the brains to work out the rights and wrongs of what I have posted on and I am not one of the TOs that was involved if I where I would be seeking legal advice against this site. Members of this site are NOT simply reporting on what is taken place on another site people are commenting on a specific case which is still on going. If you are a TO you are damaging the reputation of your colleagues also it could be jeopardising the safe prosecution of someone who MAY have committed an offence and a fair trail. By all means when the case is over comment on whatever you want. It looks like to me someone’s found it on a web site and jumped on the band wagon without been presented with the full facts from all parties.
If this is how national traffic treat their guests trying to offer advice, then I am not surprised you cannot hold on to members.

I enjoy being narrow minded, it keeps me cynical and stops me getting involved in HA politics!

Go tell those on Pepipoo that they're interfering in a police investigation then.

The Pepipoo site does not appeal to me, this site does.

At no point have I ever said that it IS interfering in a police investigation
I have simply suggested it could effectively be damaging to someone right
To a fair trial.

Guest is welcome to the views they have - to my mind the incident has happened and appears to have been dealt with in the correct manner by those involved. If no further action happens will anyone really loose any sleep (hopefully the answer is no) !

I learned along time ago that some you win and some you don't. On the face of it no one was injured so lets crack on and stay safe out there. As a plus note I agree with the locking of the topic concerned but still see comments made by people on here as healthy debate and those of personal view.

I agree to a point with the guest, in as much as discussing an ongoing case; However having read the thread on Pepipoo I feel that she was lucky not to find a due care heading her way as well as the fail to charge
