Re: Bl**dy Data Bl**dy Protection Bl**dy Act!!!!

No, our recovery can be stood down and they still get paid for the job by the HA, so even it the wreck has been winched onto the flatbed by the time insurers own recovery turns up, it can still be cancelled and swapped onto the other truck.

Re: Derailment of Topics

So again, what's wrong with a quick: can we get this back on topic guys? mentioned in a topic, rather than mass deletions and PM's? Christ, we've even got this smiley :slot: available if the Mods and concerned members don't want to type it out. Sadly, I think the nail's been hit on the head by other...

Re: Derailment of Topics

While I still take the view that NT is Falk's site, so we have to play by the rules he has, i'd be interested to see why this merited a new topic, rather than a nudge in the ribs as per RT's suggestion to get the derailed thread back on topic? Also, do we really want this in the Front Door section? ...

Re: Bl**dy Data Bl**dy Protection Bl**dy Act!!!!

If we can sort out recy or anything else for that matter with a 'quick' phone call on the MoPs behalf (emphasis on the quick) then I for one think this is what we should be doing first, before we put on our 'jack boots' and dictate to them whats going to happen. Dude, I can appreciate your points -...

Re: Changing Wheels On The Hard Shoulder

Re: Changing Wheels On The Hard Shoulder

Now that NVRM has taken away some of our options for nipping someone off network for fuel etc, I'd just ask if it's really worth the hassle, and the potential kicking off a red tab with an axe to grind if something goes wrong or you get caught on our omnipresent CCTV? Yeah, I don't like it either, b...

Re: Bl**dy Data Bl**dy Protection Bl**dy Act!!!!

I can empathise with both parties actually... I did work for an insurance company in a former 'life' and yeah, the amount of data protection stuff you had to be mindful of before being able to help a customer was a pain in the ar$e. Yeah, I know I was speaking to the same customer I'd spoken to five...
